SURFACE | COIL

This device is a 10 cm (3"), single loop, receive coil.  It is capable of a penetration depth of 10 cm before SNR drop off.  Researchers around the world have found many uses for the coil from rhesus monkey research to muskoskeletal (MSK) MR. The surface coil can be built for any GE Signa or GE Discovery system, at both 1.5T and 3.0T.
